Plenty of wildlife

The native wildlife in Tea Gardens and the surrounding area has to be seen to be believed. There are koala bears, kangaroos, wallabies, the occasional echidna and wombat, laughing kookaburras plus at least 280 species of birds in the Myall Lakes National Park. Of course, Port Stephens is well known for dolphin watching and whale watching and both these activities can but undertaken from Tea Gardens.
